Swimming pool Lights' Safety Transformers

These Safety isolating transformers are specifically built for pool lights’ supply referring to the IEC 61558-1 and IEC 61558-2-6 Standard - Safety of Power transformers, power supply units and similar.
The typical rated input voltage is 230V, 50÷60Hz; these transformers can have different or multiple input voltages upon Client request.
Every swimming-pool light transformer is equipped with a pair of connectors for each lamp, so that every wire from the lamp has its own connector, making installation faster and safer.
All transformers are protected with a suitable fuse on the primary winding, which is located directly on the transformer.
Given the generally hostile environment in which these transformers are used, with ambient temperatures reaching as high as 50°C, low-loss iron is used (1,3÷1,5 W/Kg) to improve efficiency.
These transformers are designed with the intent to limit output voltage drop, as this value is very important for the pool lights’ efficiency.
The materials used for these transformers belong to the Class F insulating system. These transformers require double or reinforced insulation, and in the case of the 300, 600, and 900VA versions, double insulation is achieved through the use of special bobbins, designed by us, which provide insulation between windings not only with the usual insulating foil, but also with a nylon layer in between.
At the end of the construction cycle, each transformer is tested by applying a 5KV test voltage between primary and secondary windings and 3KV voltage between secondary winding and ground, to ensure proper insulation according to the required standards.
All these transformers are designed to be mounted into waterproof cases with a protection degree of IP54 or more.
The Electrical Protection Class can be either I or II depending by the Client’s needs.
The standard powers available are 100, 300, 600, 900, 1.200 e 1.500 VA, as these are the typical power of pool lights.
