Autotransformers - Monophase and Threephase

Power range up to 1.000 KVA

The autotransformers are generally used when adaption of the line voltage to the nominal value of a machine or a motor is necessary; it is also used in all the cases where, either for the use or the standard applied, the galvanic separation between primary and secondary windings is not needed. The use of an autotransformer in place of a transformer has also an economical advantage, which increases as the voltage difference between input and out voltage gets smaller.
