Threephase Reactors - Line reactors for inverters

Stacks Image 893

The presence of an inverter creates a certain amount of distorsion in the AC line, with high values of harmonics, overcurrent, holes and spikes. Therefore other circuits as electronics or even other inverters can have malfunctions caused by a noisy AC line.
The insertion of a reactor before any inverter present on line causes a 'decoupling' between the inverter itself and the other circuits. All the appliances attached to the same AC line can benefit from the presence of the reactor, improving the performance and providing a protection for all the electronics connected, the harmonics content of the AC line is contained, improving the cosfi value measured on the line.
The reactors can be inserted also after the inverter, allowing the use of standard motors. It is infact possible to limit the voltage waveform which is modulated by the PWM frequecy.
