Braga carries a long and successful experience in the construction of variable autotransformers with values of power and voltage individually specified by the Client. They find their perfect use in all the applications where a continuous and 'step-free' voltage regulation is needed. They are electrically comparable to an autotrasformer, therefore there is no galvanic separation between primary and secondary. The regulation is by default achieved through a motorized operation mechanism. It is up to the client to provide the electrical circuit to power the motor. By default the variable autotransformer is sold without a protection box, the Client can either build their own protection box or an optional box can be provided.
