Three-Phase Isolation Transformers for Photovoltaic Systems
Power up to 2,000KVA
Three-phase transformers for photovoltaic systems are used to galvanically separate the photovoltaic system from the electrical grid, both from the operator and the user.
They are custom-built with power indicated from time to time by the Customer and with a primary and secondary voltage typically equal to 400V.
The primary and secondary windings can be made with vector group connection defined by the customer (e.g. Dyn11, YNd11, YNyn0, etc.) and in the case of star connection, the accessibility of the neutral can be requested.
It is possible to insert an electrostatic shield between primary and secondary to reduce disturbances present on the line and to obtain additional insulation between the two windings.
When the sizing power requires it, between the windings of the transformers there are ventilation air channels, in front-only or on all 4 sides of the coils version, which in addition to favoring heat dissipation, improve insulation and determine a reduction in short-circuit current, a non-negligible element when the transformer is inserted in circuits with electronic devices.
These transformers can be made on request in low-loss version, where efficiency can reach values above 98.5% (value determined by the nominal power of the transformer); this characteristic is particularly important in the management of the photovoltaic system, since this translates into a greater transfer of energy to the grid operator, consequently improving the economic balance of the system.
