Single-phase transformers are available in shell or core construction depending on the power and customer needs.
Single-Phase Shell-Type Separation, Control, Isolation or Safety Transformers. For general use
Power 40VA ÷ 2,500VA
Separation Transformers are custom-built with characteristics and primary and secondary voltage values indicated from time to time by individual customers while maintaining the main characteristics of all our production and are compliant with the IEC 61558-2-1 standard. They are particularly suitable for use in electrical panels and industrial electrical equipment. Impregnation is carried out with anti-mold insulating varnishes which makes them suitable for operation in very humid environments.
Control Transformers are custom-built with characteristics and primary and secondary voltage values indicated from time to time by individual customers. Particular attention is paid to the possibility of drawing a high starting power. They are particularly suitable for use in electrical panels and industrial electrical equipment.
Isolation or Safety Transformers: they are manufactured according to IEC 61558-2-4 and IEC 61558-2-6 standards and the design has been developed with size reduction in mind, compatible with the requirements of high starting power. The insulation between the windings and between these and ground is obtained with the use of special insulating supports that guarantee compliance with the degree of insulation provided by the standards, as well as compliance with surface and air distances between all active parts of the transformer. Between the primary winding and the secondary winding there is double or reinforced insulation.

Single-Phase Separation Transformers in core construction
Power up to 10KVA
Separation Transformers are custom-built with characteristics and primary and secondary voltage values indicated from time to time by individual customers. They are built in vertical or horizontal core construction, therefore suitable for floor or wall mounting, being equipped with robust steel angles. All transformers, built according to the IEC 61558-2-1 standard, are impregnated with anti-mold insulating varnishes, an operation that makes them suitable for operation in very humid environments, also improving thermal dissipation and electrical insulation.
Isolation or Safety Transformers comply with current European standards IEC 61558-1. Their use is required when the standards for electrical user installations prescribe the separation or supply of circuits in which critical environmental conditions, associated with humidity, polluting factors and presence of large metal masses, do not satisfactorily guarantee against the risk of accidental contact with live parts. They are ‘short-circuit resistant transformers not by construction’ and unless otherwise specified by the Customer do not incorporate protective fuses. Therefore, given that the standards prescribe that these transformers must be protected from overloads, it is recommended to insert fuses on the secondary circuit that have characteristics and nominal value in accordance with what is specified on the nameplate of each transformer.

Single-Phase Dry-Type Power Transformers in core construction
Power up to 500KVA
They are manufactured in compliance with IEC 61558 and IEC 60076-11 standards (applicable parts) and are custom-built with characteristics and primary and secondary voltage values (<1000V) indicated from time to time by individual customers. Between the windings there are cooling air channels, which in addition to favoring heat dissipation and improving insulation, determine lower short-circuit currents, an element that is often required when the transformer is inserted in user circuits controlled by electronic devices. All transformers are impregnated with anti-mold insulating varnishes, an operation that makes them suitable for operation in very humid environments, also improving thermal dissipation and electrical insulation.
