High frequency transformers
Single-phase high frequency power transformers are built to power energy conversion systems.
The most obvious advantage of their use lies in the possibility of reducing the transformer footprint by increasing the operating frequency: constructions are possible for frequencies ranging from 400Hz up to 25,000Hz, based on the application and components present in the circuit where the transformer is inserted.
This type of transformer is designed and built according to customer requirements and specifications, being a component that is always associated with a power inverter stage and generally with a rectifier and/or an output converter.
