Wound Interphase Reactors for Rectifiers
Interphase reactors represent a fundamental component in AC/DC conversion systems based on multipulse rectifiers such as 6-pulse and 12-pulse ones. These devices play a crucial role in improving power quality on both the AC and DC sides, reducing harmonics and optimizing the overall performance of the conversion system. A properly sized interphase reactor is able to balance the output currents from each converter, consequently improving the performance of the converter itself.
